Dark-eyed Junco

Dark-eyed juncos are handsome little, sparrow-sized birds. Their coloration is quite variable across their range, but it's typically easy to tell if one is looking at a junco based upon body shape and color pattern. In flight, they flash white outer tail feathers. Gray or brown-gray above and pale below. Pink bill.
