Whip Spider

Whip spiders is an ancient order of nocturnal arachnids which is 300-350 million years old, this specimen is larger and I'm quite sure its another species than P. ceylonicus I found in the same shed just a day earlier. The scorpion-like pincers are longer compared to P. ceylonicus, and the stripes not so dominant. Abdomen is slightly more pointed at the end than P. ceylonicus. Body length is around 60-65 mm and the whips reach outstretched around 20-25+ cm on each side. Notice how neatly the whip is ordered in resting-mode. https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1885635431
