Field Notes

Description:

About 60mm tall and the same width; a very tough dry top surface - almost shell-like; eccentric stipe; very small white pores underneath extending partly down the stipe; an attractive, fine red and yellow line around the margin.

Habitat:

On the top of a wet, mossy log in very tall eucalyptus rain forest.
