Description:

The 2nd spotting on Project Noah of this bird!

25 cm in size. Similar to the Black Bird but more slender and with a longer tail, the most striking characteristic is the bright half moon on the breast.

thrive in devoting region, but on the west coast and in northern Norway it breeds also quite near the coast.
The Ring Ouzel is a rare bird in the eastern part of Norway. When the birds come from south Europe they do a quick stop in the eastern part of Norway before they fly to the south/northern Norway for breeding season

Notes:

Spotted in my backyard.

Nice bird. I enjoyed reading your reference on this. Could you also give us more information on your actual spotting. Thanks, I am very interested in it as I have never birded in Norway.
