Description:

P. sicula contains dozens of subspecies. The current distribution patterns of the subspecies have been interpreted as the consequence of natural events, including regional glacial refuges and postglacial area expansions, and multiple introductions by man.

Habitat:

Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, rocky shores, sandy shores, rural gardens, pastureland, plantations and urban areas.

Vodim te na otok gdje ih valjda ima previše i nemaju neke neprijatelje, pa su skulirani ;)
:) za pripitomljavanje ne znam, ali znaju se često približiti! do ovog sam jedva došlja, divim se svom strpljenju od 10 min da ga uslikam!
Kako velikog si našla! :) Ja imam sliku di mi jede sendvič i gricka moje nožne prste, ja mislim da se njih može pripitomit!
