Why not Opuntia cochenillifera? http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opuntia_cochenillifera Compare with Ficus-indica: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opuntia_ficus-indica From what my eyes see it looks more like Cochenillifera, however, there are many other species and cultivated hybrids around. Do you know more about yours? YOur name is ParqueVerdes, so I guess you should know these things, but, looking at the 2 species I am confused.
