I think I found an old picture from the mature bug: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6446555
Martini, perhaps, this is the adult: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8994013
I dont think this is the assassin bug which has a long neck and head. http://www.hartmanprehistoricgarden.com/sa-repipta.html Yours looks like the cotton stainer bug, or similar, http://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/26_14461.htm and the colors will darken when the shell hardens. You probably don't see the adult colors yet.
Thanks Dan. Yes, they are very similar. It seems an assassin bug, doesn't ?
Interesting rubens and great coverage. The black dots remind me of this spotting. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/10489435
