Description:

Mosquitoes (Culicidae) are a family of insects that are classified in the order of flies.

The family has about 40 genera and includes about 31,000 species. Have evolved about 170 million years.

Habitat:

Mosquitoes inhabit all areas of the world, except for the polar regions, deserts and areas higher than 1,500 meters N / m, but usually near water, regardless of its size and quality. But different species live in very different areas.
