Description:

Large all white heron with long neck and medium sized orange spear-like bill. Legs are dark grey.

Habitat:

Seen on shores of lake Awasa, central Ethiopia - one of the rift valley lakes, with a very interesting shores - rich in flora and fauna. Here, in reed vegetation in a wooded area, not too far away from Awasa town.
