Field Notes

Description:

Very large, blackish and dark brown overall with a coppery sheen. Male was larger with red wattle and long beard. Female smaller less colourful.

Habitat:

Oak forest (but today in my backyard). I live in remote area.

Notes:

Male was courting the female who had moments of interest but eventually walked away.
