Description:

Purple tube-shaped flowers with dark leaves. Very similar looking to their cousin, the sage that is used in cooking

Habitat:

Orlando Wetlands Park South Branch Trail near some sabal palmetto plants

I didn't really delve into what each species looked like until now, but after seeing them the only one that seems to fit was my first instinct of lyre-leaf sage.
I have to disagree, I am almost certain this is Lyre-leaf Sage. If you know the name of this other similar looking plant is I can do my best to discern the two but I am unaware of anything else this could be.
