of course I was speaking about Rosa x damascena! Crazy expensive oil, where the majority on my money goes ;) Really haven't seen rose fields and living in Bulgaria-terrible terrible!!! :)
Nah, I'm sure it won't be permanent. Now I'm quite busy and don't have time for longer walks and the plants in the capital usualy are very common, cosmopolites and/or ruderal species. About the export of wild herbs I'm not informed of the statute of our country, but to tell you a little secret - every plant is a herb, you must only know the right dose. :) About the roses, although we have around 31 species, you probably are speaking for the oil giving species and hybrids from section Gallicanae and maybe more specifically for Rosa x damascena var. trigintipetala. I actually haven't seen a rose field in my life, and I'm not a big fan of them so I can't promise anything.
Nice :) I guess it will be a problem for us now to have any different spotting :D at least when it comes to plants! Had no idea that Bulgaria had such a similar biodiversity, aren't you the number one in export of wild herbs? The only think I definitely know that is unique is The rose :) you have to take a pic of it :)
