Well, I can tell you that this is a female. Female Katydids have an ovipositor, used to lay eggs. Yours is very clearly seen as the curved, sword-like appendage extending from the end of the abdomen. She looks like she has some wing abnormality. A little more research is needed to get closer to an ID beyond what we have. :)

I added the other photo I took, but it is pretty much the same as the first ;). S/he didn't stick around long - went to change my lens and it was gone.
