Field Notes

Description:

Red Centipede. Adults have 15 pairs of legs and 18 body segments (as per Bugguide). Fairly fast moving. Predatory.

Habitat:

Found under outdoor flowerpots and stones. Dark, moist areas.

Notes:

If anyone can help narrow down a Genus and/or Species for this Centipede I would be grateful!

Centipedes look so alien. Beautiful from a distance ;)
