Field Notes
Description:
Small beetle. Bright reddish-orange coloration with black legs and antennae. Six black spots on elytra (three per side). Somewhat elongated protonum ("neck" area).
Habitat:
Suburban yard.
Notes:
This one took me a few tries to get as it didn't hold still very well. I saw them several times prior to getting these images.
