Description:

The lighting was just right when I captured this boat-tailed grackle and caught his beautiful sheen. Iridescent blue-black bird with a very long tail and bright yellow eyes. Female is similar.

Habitat:

There were several grackles at St Marks National Wildlife Refuge in St Marks, Florida

Thanks Ashley for the correction. Thanks so much for your help. I'll make the change. This bird does have a beautiful sheen.
Your first clue this isn't a Common Grackle is the darker eye, a Common would have a bright yellow/white eye. Then your second clue is the fact that you got the sheen of the feathers, and the sheen is blue. A Common would be olive. Then your third clue is the giant tail.
