Hi Ella, welcome to Project Noah! This little bird makes a great first spotting :) Could you add the scientific name to the spotting for us? For the dark-eyed junco, it's Junco hyemalis. All you need to do is click on Edit this spotting just above your username in the top right. It helps the site to match the related spottings more accurately, and makes your spotting more complete.
