Eating bread I threw to them.

Bread is bad for ducks it kills them.
Th bird on the left is a Mallard drake, possibly part hybridised, while the one on the right is a domestic hybrid. Drake refers to males and duck to females in the scientific world, although duck is used commonly for both sexes.
