Yellow-legged Gull
Larus michahellis
43.7323, 15.8967
Field Notes
Description:
A large typical Gull, common to Adriatic Sea and its coasts, bearing a resemblance to its cousin, the Herring Gull. Gracious in flight, and very noisy.
Habitat:
This large gull is a native, resident and common species to Mediterranean region, its sea and coasts; but sometimes can be seen as far inland as Geneva lake in Switzerland. Here, observed on Adriatic coast, flying above Šibenik, Croatia.
Notes:
A much easier model to shot in flight, than my previous spotting (Common swift).
