Field Notes

Description:

About 15 mm. Found two in the same place, and a lot of ants in the same area...

Habitat:

In a tree (dont know the type) about 1.70 cm above ground. Mixed acacia woodland.

Did you check Alydidae, Broad-headed Bug Nymph from Coreoidea? These nymphs are perfect ant mimicks. For my eyes it looks more like Alydidae than Reduviidae.
