Description:

Also known as the Tiger owl, is a large owl native to the Americas.

Habitat:

One of the most adaptable owls in terms of habitat. The great horned owl can take up residence in trees that include deciduous,coniferous and mixed forest.

Notes:

This owl was spotted at Hidden Lakes, part of Hidden Oaks Conservation Area in Bolingbrook , Illinois.
