Field Notes

Description:

Amazing moth that sports a bright yellow polka dotted skirt when its wings are open (first three shots) and looks a dull, melt-into-the-foliage green when the wings are folded (last two shots). It is really pretty.
This most likely P. crocina.

Habitat:

Neora Valley Jungle Camp. Himalayan foothills. A stone's throw from Bhutan and Nepal.
