Field Notes

Description:

Underparts are gray, undertail coverts cinnamon, upperparts are grayish.
White, yellow and red spots on wings, primaries are black. One white line on primaries. Tip of the tail is bright yellow. Head is cinnamon, with a sleek crest. Black mask on both eyes, with white underline.

Habitat:

Migrating back North for breeding. Stopped in city parks to feed on remaining tree berries.
