Description:

Large bird, adults with white head and tail.

Habitat:

This bird was fishing in a large, artificial reservoir stocked with trout. The lake is surrounded by lawns, residential neighborhoods, and some commercial buildings.

Notes:

A pair of Bald Eagles is nesting in Fountain, Colorado, and it is suspected that it is those birds that are fishing in Prospect Lake.
