This stalk is very strong and thick for a flower and has a white substance that rubs off easily
From looking at the stem, it looks like amaryllis (I don't know which one....) Daylily has softer stem. What do you think?
This flower is a vibrant deep red who's flowers last from days to weeks. The stalk is thick and it does well even in the Texas heat.
