Fyn's right, this is definitely not Cannabis, but a cinquefoil (related to buttercups). I can't be 100% sure without seeing the flower, but I'm very certain it's a sulphur cinquefoil :) They have leaves with a shape that is similar to C. sativa, but are blunt on the ends and covered in fine hairs. Do post some pictures when this plant blooms if possible!
The point of each leaf is blunt not elongated like C. sativa. Also, the leafs are not fuzzy on C. sativa > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Cannabis_sativa_plant_(4).JPG
