It is a Tiger Beetle, but there are so many of them and so many similar ones that I am not at all sure as to species. I think it is something similar to if not this one: http://bugguide.net/node/view/464129 I picked it for being one of the ones posted on bugguide from Mississippi, but feel free to look through these: http://bugguide.net/node/view/563/bgpage?from=47
