Description:
A very small moth, only about 5-7 mm in length with beautiful green eyes and intricate markings. The second photo looks like a smiley face. When observed flying, one can see white underwings.
Habitat:
Larvae feed on the root of Goldenrod (Solidago sp.)
Notes:
A lifer!
