Description:

15cm, A plain sparrow with a warm brown back and dove-grey head; sexes alike. Told from all other species, except localised Northern Grey-headed sparrow, by its plain grey head.

Habitat:

Found in garden near forest area.

Notes:

song: 'tchep tchierp tchep' also alarm rattle
