Local marsh.

Notes:

@ the pond. This is the local Marsh I like to frequent. It is quite a large area. This photo is just part of it. There are small ponds behind the trees, and to the left and to the bottom right of the photo. There is also a flowing creek behind the trees.
In this photo, there is a Heron, several Mallard Ducks and a Wood Duck. I enjoy my time down here, each time is different.

Hello it's great to have a place full of wildlife to visit! Because a spotting is about a "species of wildlife," please choose one of the species to represent this spotting. A habitat can only support a spotting as habitat of a species, it cannot really be the spotting itself. You can read about this in the FAQs (link at the bottom of every page) under the section " What types of photos should I submit as spottings?" Just for your information the category "other" refers specifically to "organisms" that don't fit in the existing categories. Examples are snails, squid, worms, starfish, coral and errr...others. So that needs to be changed to Birds I would say. Thanks!

Thank you Viv. Yes there is. I really do enjoy my time here. I spend a couple hours every time I go. I don't realize the time sometimes, crawling around on my knees. lol. It is a short distance from my house.
