Field Notes

Description:

My sister found this last year and has not identified it.

Habitat:

Wooded area in North-central Ohio

Notes:

Sorry for the poor photograph

Species ID Suggestions

American Tiger Lily

Lilium superbum

Comments (2)

My guide calls it a Turk's Cap Lily. It looks a little different to normal as the tepals have drooped forward whereas normally they'd be curled back.
Thanks, KimLomman, I could not find this in my field guide!
