Description:

Small plant with one flower per plant and distinctive leaves. It is quite common in spruce forests here.

Habitat:

Shady, mossy spruce forest on Afognak Island

Notes:

I apologize for the poor photo of the flower. It was quite dark and difficult to photograph, but this was my first time seeing it in bloom.
