You are right. I think there is a mistake in Piñas publication, because the picture in the Piñas publication looks exactly the same that the one I have here.
I don't think that it is Syllepis. Look at the yellow margin on the forewing. In yours the edge is completely dark and there is also a broad dark bar on the forewing. In Syllepis there is a round patch at the edge with a yellow border and the complete brad bar at the margin is interrupted. And the clear "comma" on the forewing is missing. Although you always might have some variability I am still confident with my suggestion of Eulepte sp.
