Description:

A turkey vulture flying over

Habitat:

It was soaring around and flew right over me.

Notes:

Never really tried to get a picture of a vulture so when this guy flew over and I had my camera out, I decided to snap a pic.

Yeah I thought it was a turkey vulture but I had an experienced birder with me and he said it was a black vulture. I'll probably change the ID in just a minute.

Black vultures are smaller and only have white on the wing tips, where as turkey vultures are large and have almost even black and white down the length of the wing.
