Thank you CDF for ID. After your work it will be easier to identify plants at the Galapagos. In 2007 it was difficult to find information about plants.
Hola kzapata, Muchas gracias por su interés. Efectivamente no es una S plumieri, no sé de dónde saqué esta información -hay muy poco sobre la flora de las Galápagos. Estaba junto al mar y surgía de la roca de lava en la isla de Santa Cruz. He añadido un macro de las hojas y una tercera foto para ilustrar el hábitat. ¿Podría tratarse de mangle? Seguimos investigando.
I don't think that plant is S. plumieri. The leaves are very different. Do you have any spot of the flower?
