Sound great! I have heard that BC is beautiful. Maybe some day and yes, you are right, less work and more joy at the beach!
Hola Rosy. Sí me demasiado. Vida obtiene tan ocupada. Suerte que tenga ese punto de vista. Sería bueno visitar aquí. Tenga cuidado de Rosy.and no trabajar demasiado duro.
I'd been neglected my duties over Project Noah since i had been busy working in other work projects, life issues and my actual job, by the way, I work in the place you saw in picture 3, "Los Tildillos", residencial de playa, its a beautiful place
Me gusta mucho tus fotos. Qué hermoso lugarlo parece en la imagen 3.Cuídate. Hasta Luego.
Thanks again to all of you for your help, your comments helped me to pay more attention to details I haven't noticed before. And Telse, I'll appreciate your mentoring and stayed sleepless yesterday looking for this ID, by the way your Spanish is very good!, my English isn't that good. So, here we have a Royal tern! Have a good weekend everyone!
Hello again rosygu61. After searching for quite sometime for your Tern last night, (it was bedtime for me too. lol .) and this morning ... My conclusion is the Royal Tern. In your photos, the Tern has black legs and the kind of grey pattern on the wing tips, tell me it would be that species, as annorion is suggesting. Here are some images of the Royal Tern flying. Notice the wings and legs. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=images+of+royal+terns+flying&qpvt=images+of+royal+terns+flying&FORM=IGRE
Hi everyone! I'm more than happy with this ID! I think LivesinADream and Annorion are right, I believe it could be Royal,
Looks more like a Royal tern than Caspian tern in the bill and wing tips.
This website will help you too. Cheers. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/browse_tax/35/ http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Caspian_Tern/id
Thank you Telse, visited that link but the more I see, I become more confusing, it is yellow-billed, artic, common, elegant? what is it? it's bed time:)
Hola rosygu61. Yes, me too rosy. lol!
Thanks Telse and LivesInADream for helping me. I born here and always saw this guys only as an elegant and beautiful bunch of noisy birds, ha ha, and now after so many years I become interested and began to observe them but its a little complicated, I can't tell how they looked in their non breeding plumage, I'm looking now at wiki page but still not sure about the species. Keep looking
Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tern
You are right, now that Y look closer at the range it is unlikely an elegant tern. Common tern or royal tern? I think royal terns are more common in your area, from what I can tell from the range maps! If you know what they look like in their non-breeding plumage, that would be helpful with identification. I love terns, they are great birds!
nope, it haven't a black-tipped beak
hI!..I'm in the gulf coast, and wiki says elegant tern lives at the Pacific, no, doesn't have a headdress when in land, could it be common tern?
I would say an elegant turn... do they have a headdress when not flying?
