Field Notes

Habitat:

Shallow hardbottom near shore

Notes:

Not sure of species, I am guessing Yellow Sea Whip (which I read can sometimes be of a purple color variant). There we many many of these in this area all very dark in color and of about the same size. If anyone is familiar with this area and can offer a species ID it would be most welcomed.
