Field Notes

Description:

Tibellus oblongus reaches a body length of 8 -10 mm. Female is light yellow brown with in the middle a dark brown longitudinal band, the sides of the abdomen are also darkened and the back of the abdomen two or more rarely four black dots. The male is drawn much darker and more defined. The basic color of the male is more light gray with almost black longitudinal bands.

Habitat:

This is quite a large species found in grassy and well vegetated habitats.

Right, I have seen them already some times to have a much bigger catch, don't know how they eat all, and whenever they are, they are so calm like in trance or sth. and they can stay like this for a really long time...
Tnx, suppose it's lunch time in your time zone ;) but actually this was spotted around 1/2 pm my time, really lunch time :)
