Field Notes

Description:

Tall- 3 ft. Long thin stems, with single pale lavender flower at tip. No basal leaves that I could see. Stem leaves were not observed.

Habitat:

Pine Sandhill.

Notes:

Id'd from a fantastic book: "Florida Wildflowers in their Natural Communities" by Walter Kingsley Taylor. If you are into Florida's Wildflowers, you need this book.
