Description:

Small bird of about 15cm with a curved beak. Very shy with a harsh screech like cry.

Habitat:

Small brush near a stream.

Lanius excubitor lives here in Latvia :) But at least something from the genus Lanius it is :)
Not too good at my idents Jakubko so it's quite nice to get one right for someone else : )
Viv got to it 2 minutes before me. :-) Lanius tephronotus looks like a match to me.
Thank you sintija.valucka they look similar but in the global range India is not shown.....
I'm just guessing, but looks similar to that one, doesn't it? :)
