Field Notes

Description:

The Lynx spider (body length 6 - 7mm) and the Lady beetle shared the same piece of grass. The spider did not touch the beetle at all. If I got too close the spider would jump and 'abseil' down on a thread, wait a few seconds and then climb back up and be in the READY position (as in the pic) It has enlarged dark coloured pedipalps (male)
