Field Notes

Description:

9", zebra-striped back, Buffy cream breast- male's with a slight hint of blush on it. Male with bright red cap- extending down to the face as well. female without as much red on the head, Buffy cream face.

Habitat:

This pair lives at Tuscawilla Park, in Ocala. Often hangs around the light pole at the side of the Discovery Center, peering Through the windows into the upstairs gymnasium.

Notes:

They kept hammering on the windows! Three or four taps, pause.. Repeat... Odd.
