Field Notes

Description:

About 7-10 mm. The third type of this bug found in the reserve. No ID yet.
This one is quite similar from this http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/190516039. But it has more brown spots with black borders.

Habitat:

Two individual bugs in this spotting. One was found in a mixed forest, thicket area (Python pool, marked on the map for the spotting), and the other one was found in a similar environment but about 25 km away from the first spotting. (Northern part of the Reserve, the Gorge)

Thank you Hanna!
Fantastic picture as usual! Unfortunately i don't know what this is either, but a beautiful animal. Vi syns i metropolen Enköping! Det finns en fantastisk "biotop" där vi bor, där det säkert kryllar av härliga små "bugs".
I am glad that you like the critters Cindy, and that you support us with your experience of IDs of the small creatures. Dotun, it really looks like a version of the picasso bug, thank you for that clue :) Thank you Harsha, Mr Tom, Mother Lauren Nature and Constansa for your very nice comments.
Wow, what a great looking bug!!!
Adorable bug! I'm guessing it's a variety of the Picasso bug... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/206676009
:) You're spotting some amazing critters! Thank you for sharing them!
Thank you for your comment Bhagya :) Cindy, that must be it! Thank you so very much for pointing out the right direction! I appreciate it a lot!
Thank you Dan! #3 with my fingers... naah! It is just there for a size reference. I think it looks like a blob is in the way of what really matters... :) But it is a funny looking little bug with a nice pattern!
