Field Notes

Description:

A very small polypore about 10 mm wide with a notched cap and thick eccentric stipe. The cream-colored cap had a tinge of brown and appeared convex on the upper side. thinning out towards the margins.
The stipe base was brown and felty.

Habitat:

Spotted on a small decaying branch in a damp eucalyptus forest.

Notes:

I assume this is a black footed polypore. Confirmation would be greatly appreciated.
