Description:

The "Amazonian Snail-Eater" depends on closed-canopy rain forest for its diet of snails, which the snake can extract from their shells using its slender jaw.

Habitat:

Found in South America. ( Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay).
The region where this specimen was found is a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.

A person found this snake and led to my College to be identified...
