Found this little one next to a woodland trail in Emmaus, Pa. Need some ID help. I believe it is a Red Morph Eastern Screech Owl.

@ TamLar... I was fortunate to get this photo because my Nikon camera's battery died and I was on my way back to my truck to go home, luckily I had my cam corder along as back up. Also, there is a fork in the trail, I was fortunate to take the one that took me right by this great little bird. A lifer for me. What a great day birding!

Your hypothesis is correct, it is the red version of this attractive little owl. Nice photograph.
