Habitat:

These are covering the roadsides. This one grows in a church parking lot under a tree.

Notes:

I thought this was a phlox at first.

Thanks for the spelling check! My iPhone (which I use for PN more than my laptop) tends to change spellings on me with little or no warning. Drives me nuts.
The ID is correct but the spelling is Catharanthus roseus :-)
It's not a phlox? Hmmm. Time to break out my book. Nuts.
