Field Notes

Description:

Small, brown Chafer-like scarab with SCALES like a weevil. About 8 mm long. The first picture is from 23 April 2013, the second picture (same place) is from 10 June 2013. The third picture is from 13 Abril 2014 (same place).

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
