Description:
It is a shy bird, so it lives in quiet places. Has the limited visual field, but this deficiency is overcome by the ability to rotate the head up to 270 degrees, which helps in focusing. Lives nine years in the wild and ten in captivity.
Habitat:
Owl terrestrial, it has diurnal and nocturnal, but it is active primarily during twilight, when he makes use of his excellent hearing. Occupy altered habitats by human activities, including cities and airstrips or airports. I found this specimens in a football camp, inside to the city.
