Description:

This is wood rotting fungus that appears like irregularly shaped clumps of yellow sponge. here it is seen on white slimy matter.
Pic #1 shows minute darker spots on the yellow masses. These are ostioles or exit holes for spores.

Habitat:

Spotted on a damp decaying log - damp eucalyptus forest

This fungus is stated to be associated with other fungi.
